Applying for a school place September 2027

If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 they will be eligible to start school in September 2027. The admissions process opens on 9th November 2026 and will close on 15th January 2027. Parents will be informed on their place on 16th April 2027 by Derbyshire County Council.  It also applies to children who will transfer from infant school to junior school in September 2027.

We would like to invite you to visit our school before you make the important decision to apply for a school place for your child.  There will be two opening mornings on Tuesday 20th October and Tuesday 3rd November, 9am until 10am.

There will also be an information evening on Wednesday 7th October at 6pm until 7pm. During these sessions you will be able to have a tour around the school and meet the whole school team. 

No need to book- please just turn up on the day. We will look forward to meeting you!

Secondary Admissions
